Last Friday, Indiana Newscenter asked to do a segment on NeighborLink Fort Wayne's commitment to serving the Fort Wayne community. It just happened to be freezing cold and we had a few snow removal projects left to do before we got pelted with more snow over the weekend. We are grateful for the coverage and the questions they asked us. It's not too often we get asked really good technical questions by the media, which ultimately helps us better educate the community on our services.
We care deeply about our process and keeping both volunteers and homeowners safe. This is a major reason why our volunteeer registration process is the way it is as well as our liability waiver. Taking the necessary steps we've put in place will ensure that everyone engaged in our process takes time to think about what all is involved.
Huge thanks to volunteer, Aaron Makin, for his 3 years of service at NeighborLink as well as coming out on his lunch break to join us for this project and the interview. We have so many great volunteers like Aaron that really make NeighborLink work. Without them, we're just a fancy website with good intentions.
