Concert Has Been Cancelled - Due to personal reasons, Derek has cancelled this show and all shows he has booked in May. It's unfortunate that he has to cancel and its even more unfortunate for his reasoning.

Sorry to everyone that was planning on coming or purchased tickets already. You should expect a full refund from his management shortly if you haven't already. I've been in touch with them and they assured me that they're handling it as fast as they can.

I've been a fan of Derek Webb for a long time. I think Caedmon's Call was one of the first "Christian" music groups that I remember getting into. Derek has moved beyond those years into an incredible solo career of his own writing thought provoking songs that challenge the way we think and live as humans and as believers. Many of his songs ring true to me after so many years living in the tension that comes at NeighborLink by working in the space between the Churches of our community and the low-income and vulnerable neighbors we serve. I saw Derek a few years ago in a "house show" environment, which includes a small venue or a house with just him and his guitar. It's an intimate evening with a small number of other folks who share an appreciation for his music and a desire to hear his stories.

In our continued efforts at NeighborLink to build community with our supporters, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to invite him to Fort Wayne when he was searching for venues for his upcoming house show tour this spring. Consider this an invite to come have a fun evening with other NeighborLink supports and community members that share a love for good music in Fort Wayne.

We're excited to partner with One Lucky Guitar and their brilliant B-Side venue that holds 55 people in downtown Fort Wayne in an area affectionately named, "Brick Town." I've seen several shows here and it's easily one of my favorite venues to watch a show like this.
