On Demember 10th, NeighborLink Fort Wayne is hosting a celebration and fundraising event at the Cinema Center in downtown Fort Wayne. The theme of the night will be telling creative and visual stories of what it means to volunteer at NeighborLink and embrace the concepts of being a great neighbor. More event details to come soon as we finalize the details.
As well as showing a documentary video that we've been working all year, we're going to maximize the use of the former Artlink gallery space by displaying photographs, visual graphics, and hopefully some artwork of area artists that would like to design pieces for this event that are their interpretations of "Love Your Neighbor."
We're looking for 5-8 artists that would be willing to take on the challenge of designing a piece in their preferred medium for this event. The only thing we ask is that it be in line with the spirit of the mission of NeighborLink, but beyond that, we want to give you creative freedom to come up with the work you're feeling led to create. We'd also ask that you consider making that work available for sale with a portion or all of the proceeds going to NeighborLink Fort Wayne.
If this sounds like something that you'd like to participate in, please contact me and let me know. I'd love to talk to you more and see some of your work.
